The DIRAK Slam Latch for Sliding Doors 6-151 was developed in part for the transport sector. It prevents the door from opening unintentionally if something inside the transport container presses against the latch bolt. The Slam Latch 6-150 can be opened by pulling lightly on the handle. To close it, simply press lightly and the latch bolt engages. Both products were consistently designed to reduce noise – rattling doors are a thing of the past with DIRAK slam latch variants.
